Block Naming - The results are in!

Thank you to everyone who took part in voting for the block names on Site A. It was really good to hear your thoughts and contributions both at our engagement and online.

After the initial six themes were presented to the Church Street Regeneration Community Group, it was then down to the three most popular. The team is
pleased to announce that the theme of ‘Nature Linked to the Local Community’ has been selected to name the new blocks. This theme won with over half of the votes cast by you, our Church Street residents.

What happens next?

We now need to come up with a shortlist that will include trees, shrubs and botanicals reflecting the diversity of the local community. The finalised list will also be shared with essential services to approve these names. We will of course keep you updated in future editions of this newsletter.

Community Engagement Update

Throughout July, the Church Street Engagement team has been out and about holding and attending a series of community events, meeting and talking with residents about the on-going projects on Church Street including Site A Block naming, Site B & C co-design and the Lisson Grove Regeneration Programme

Events and activities included 134 residents engaged in consultations, nine events or street stalls and three newsletters. We attended, the Antiques Fair, KSA coffee mornings and Summer Church Street Market community stall as well as hosting two pop-up stalls on the Triangle and at the market.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to talk to us and contributed, we really like hearing your thoughts about the proposed plans.
