Refurbishing Kennet House sports pitch
The long-planned works to refurbish the sports pitch with new fencing, lighting and a new surface and goals is ready to get under way in the coming weeks.
The contractor Play Innovation will be carrying out the works. They will be setting up their compound area between Windrush House and the sports pitch.
The works will commence on 18th August and will take up to 8 weeks to complete, so ending on 11th October 2025.
If you have any questions or concerns whilst the works are on site, the contractor will have the phone number of their site manager displayed on a sign on the site compound, and you can also email the resident advocacy team at [email protected] and myself or a colleague would be able to respond to your questions.
There will be some noisy work removing the old playing surface and fencing and digging holes for the new fencing posts, but these noisier parts of the work should be completed within a few weeks, so I hope you are not unduly inconvenienced by the works.
