Join us for the Church Street Sites B and C Design Day

Come along on Saturday 11 July 2026

Westminster City Council's Sites B and C team is inviting everyone who lives, works, trades, studies or spends time in Church Street to join us for a Design Day and help shape the designs for Sites B and C.

Over the past year, we've been working with local residents, businesses, traders and community organisations to develop the Stage 1 design brief and concept plans. We'd now like to share the latest designs and hear what you think.

Come along to meet the design team, explore the latest concept plans, and share your ideas and feedback.

Tell us what's working well, what could be improved and how the proposals can best reflect local needs!

Time: 10am to 5pm
Location: Church Street Triangle and 56 Church Street

The Design Day is also a chance to celebrate the progress we've made together over the past 12 months. There'll be a family fun corner, ice cream and balloons, so bring your family, friends and neighbours – everyone is welcome.

Thank you to everyone who has helped shape the proposals so far. We look forward to sharing the latest designs with you.

What to expect on the day

The Design Day will feature a range of activities taking place throughout the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn more and get involved.

Throughout the day you can:

·       View the latest concept designs

·       Explore the 3D model and exhibition

·       Hear what others said during the co-design process

·       Help shape the plans by sharing your feedback

There will also be a fun football corner, street art, henna, face painting and ice cream.

You can also meet the teams from Lisson Groove, The Mosaic Community Trust and The Feathers Association throughout the day.

Design Day programme

The Design Day will feature a range of activities taking place throughout the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn more and get involved. Please see below what is happening across the day, and come along to any sessions that interest you.

10am to 10.15am - Welcome and Opening of the Design Day

10.15am to 5pm - Explore the 3D Model and Exhibition

1pm to 2pm - Conversation with Site B and C Businesses and Traders

2.15pm to 3pm - Conversation with Sites B, C and Kennet House Residents

3.15pm to 4.15pm - Conversation on Shared Spaces and Community Centre

Your feedback will help shape the next stage of the design process.

You can share your views on the day through quick feedback activities and a more detailed survey. The Sites B and C project and design team will be available throughout the event to answer questions, discuss the emerging designs and hear your feedback.
