Tree survey near Greenside Community Centre, Lilestone Street

We are planning to carry out a tree survey inside the fenced area in the green space outside Greenside Community Centre on Lilestone Street.

The survey is expected to take place between Monday 3 August and Friday 7 August 2026 and should take up to five days to complete. The survey will assess the health of the trees in this area and provide information to help the design team understand what needs to be considered as plans for the Lisson Grove Programme are developed, including how we can protect and retain as many existing trees as possible.Survey Plans

The survey will involve digging small trial holes to expose the tree roots at the locations shown on the plan. We expect to dig no more than ten holes in total. All works will be hand dug, roots will be retained and photographed, and the turf will be relaid once the survey is complete. The trees will not be damaged by this work.

Contractors will work on one tree at a time and fence off the immediate area around each tree. This means residents will still be able to use the green space, although there may be some noise while the survey is taking place. We will make every effort to minimise disruption and apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience while this important survey work is carried out.
