This notice is to update residents about the delivery of a pilling rig machine to Church Street Site A, scheduled for Monday 6 July 2026. 

Site A will provide 430 new homes. Of these, 215 will be affordable homes, with 70% of the affordable homes let at Social Rent. The development will also include a new library and new shop space. 

• The piling rig will be delivered between 8am and 1pm. 
• This delivery will allow piling work to continue.

Piling means putting large support deep into the ground to help hold up the new building. We'll do our best to reduce noise and disruption during the delivery. The delivery trailer will be placed carefully to help minimise disruption to residents.
